How this directory works
Where the data comes from
Only from business owners and the directory admin, typed or imported by them. Nothing is copied from map apps or other directories.
Claimed pages
A page is “Unclaimed” until its owner proves it is theirs with a code sent to the listing’s email or phone, or with a document the admin checks. Only the verified owner can change it.
Reviews
Anyone with an email address can review a business once. Reviews go live at once. A review is held for a moderator only for a reason shown to its author: contact details, links, insults, repeated text or a burst from one person. A bad rating is never a reason. Owners can reply and report, but not hide or delete, and money does not remove a review. A review written in exchange for something is marked “Incentivized”. Owners and their staff may not review their own business.
Sponsored results
Businesses on the Featured plan pay to appear first in their categories and neighborhoods. They sit in a box marked “Sponsored” above the other results, and the spot ends by itself when the plan ends. Featured businesses get no help with reviews.
Leaving
You can delete your data in this directory from your account page at any time. That removes what you wrote here and nothing else.
